Steve McQueen talks Shame Oscar snub
Shame will be one of the most high-profile absentees as next weekend’s Oscar ceremony, having initially been touted for a host of nominations in high-profile categories. Director Steve McQueen has spoken out about the decision, and says it’s down to America’s awkwardness around the subject of sex. ..
The Academy is racist as all hell, of course my British brother with the same name from a different mother would get snubbed. Also, he’s another one of those directors that values intellect and “the message” so much more so than pure entertainment. They don’t like things that are that polarized, no matter which end.
They’re not racists, I’m sure you cannot get more American (granted, American-washed) or ‘whiter’ than Stanley Kubrick, and do you know how many times he’s won an Oscar, no less was nominated for an Oscar, hell, how many Golden Globes do you think he won? It’s politics.
I LOVE THESE TWO!!...shame is an amazing movie!!
people need to get off...there high ass horses when it comes to movies. oh fucking no,...
I don’t care who wins Best Actor…the best actor...year was Michael Fassbender.
